Kingpins & Tiger

On 7 & 8 May 2014, the first edition of the denim trade show Kingpins took place at the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam.

The Amsterdam Denim Days, a new initiative from House of Denim, a platform for creativity and innovation within the industry, provided an opportunity for denim brands, producers, consumers, press and designers to celebrate all things indigo and explore the key themes of innovation and sustainability.

Hundreds of solutions, fabrics, prints and ... a tiger ...I was fascinated with!!!

Kapow is a result of cooperation Amsterdam Fashion Institute and the Jean School and the expertise of denim partners Diesel, Candiani and Martelli. Experiments in treatments, prints and unconventional finishes .The philosophy is to challenge the status quo by constant innovation and an appreciation for the absurd and illogical.

Amsterdam is already a renowned fashion hub and denim capital having one of the highest densities of denim companies in the world.

Next event is coming soon: May 21 - 22/2014 Barcelona Denim by Premiere Vision which will present the trends for fall/winter 2015/2016
